FirePower water fire extinguisher - with key points

Our FirePower range of water fire extinguishers are the 6 litre (Model246A) and the 9 litre (Model 240A) water extinguishers.

These extinguishers are Kitemarked to BS EN3, have a squeeze grip operation, corrosion resistant finish, internal polyethylene lining and a protective plastic base.

They also come complete with wall bracket.

The 6 litre model has passed the 35KV conductivity discharge test.

The manufacturers specifications give the duration of discharge as 60 seconds for the 9 litre model and 50 seconds for the 6 litre model.

FirePower Water Fire Extinguishers With Additive - Stored Pressure

The FirePower range of water additive fire extinguishers are supplied in 3 litre and 6 litre models.

These fire extinguishers are Kitemarked to BS EN3, have a squeeze grip operation, corrosion resistant finish, internal polyethylene lining and a protective plastic base.

They also come complete with wall bracket.

The manufacturers specifications give the duration of discharge (at 20°C) as 25 seconds for the 3 litre model and 60 seconds for the 6 litre model.

These extinguishers are for use on Class A fires.

Water Fire Extinguishers - Key Points:

- Red Body (Can also be provided in Chrome finish)

- Suitable for use on Class A fires (paper, wood & textiles)

- Extinguishes fires by cooling 

- NOT suitable for fires involving flammable liquids, cooking fats, etc (explodes violently on contact)

- NOT safe to use on fires involving electricity (conducts electricity by jet/pooling)

Water Fire Extinguishers are suitable for Class A fires (paper, wood & textiles).  The water works to extinguish fires by cooling the fire.

Water fire extinguishers are not recommended for fighting Class C fires (flammable gases, for example, butane and methane), Class B fires (flammable liquids such as petrol), Class F fires (involving, for example, cooking oils and grease), or for fighting fires involving electricity.
